ASURYS and RFID4U have recently partnered to offer CompTIA RFID+ certification training. There is an increasing need for education and certification around RFID technology, but most training companies have put their certification training on-hold until CompTIA's new RFID certification exam is released this spring. ASURYS and RFID4U are offering this certification training in spite of the exam closure. "We are meeting the industry need with our certification training," Sanjiv Dua, CEO of RFID4U. "We believe it's important to prepare people now to pass the exam instead of waiting to begin training after the exam is out."
By partnering, the two companies are not only meeting an industry need, but greatly benefiting participants with their combined strengths. "We selected RFID4U as our training partner because they are a leader in RFID learning solutions and have the most experience training RFID professionals in the industry," said Mark Brown, project manager of systems and services for ASURYS. "Their training platform is well developed and mature, and is the best we have seen. Students taking our courses will benefit from the depth of the training materials."
Most of their interactive training courses will take place at ASURYS' Customer Solution Center (CSC) - an RFID testing, training, engineering and development center - in Memphis, Tenn. "ASURYS' Customer Solution Center is the best RFID training facility on earth," said Dua. "Attendees will truly benefit from attending the certification course in this world-class facility where they can get hands-on training using real RFID solutions."
The new partners are offering their first jointly taught CompTIA RFID+ certification training course Feb. 27, 2006 at the RFID World trade show. This course is for individuals that have a foundational knowledge in RFID, 6 to 24 months of experience in the industry, and perform installation, configuration and maintenance of RFID hardware and device software, site surveys/site analysis or tag selection, placement and testing. RFID4U guarantees that participants will earn their RFID+ certification upon completion of their training program. If they finish the preparation training without the certification, they can attend a future training within a period of one year at no extra cost.
