Data Systems International (DSI) has added two new RFID training courses to its 2007 Training Schedule. These courses are available to DSI customers and will be taught in the company's Advanced Technology Lab in Overland Park , Kansas .
"RFID Foundation" is a two-day course designed for technical professionals who seek a basic understanding of RFID technology. Participants will receive exposure to and a detailed explanation of the components of a basic RFID system.
"dcLINK RFIDActivator - Configuration and Use" is a two-day, hands-on approach to configuration and use of dcLINK RFIDActivator for technical professionals who will be implementing an RFID solution or integrating RFID tags.
"These informative new training courses will be presented by experienced DSI automated data collection professionals who have CompTIA RFID+ certification. They will help participants gain a better understanding of how RFID technology can be used in their business as part of their automated data capture solution," said Latecia Mills, DSI Vice President, Client Services.
DSI consultants who have RFID+ certification also work with DSI customers to gather requirements, design project plans and lead RFID deployments.
"Because the CompTIA RFID+ certification is a vendor-neutral certification, DSI's certified consultants use their in-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices to help our customers deploy RFID technology for automated data collection processes in the most cost-effective and time-efficient way possible," Mills said.
Other training courses are available to dcLINK customers to enhance their understanding and usage of DSI's dcLINK automated data collection solution.
