Through the signing of the contract carried out by PREMO RFID and INGENIA last December, they will offer to the market management solutions where integrated Information Technology (IT) and Identification for Radio frequency (RFID) yield a significant added value. With this alliance the companies entry into the RFID emergent market that will go up in Spain in the next years.
The project consists of developing a location of people system (video surveillance + active RFID). The pilot project will operate in the second semester of 2008, as forecasted. This project will fundamentally improve the system currently known as intelligent surveillance video.
"From a strategic point of view, this alliance is essential to both companies, as it makes possible to tackle and offer to the market developments and applications where the best of both companies knowledge meet".
This agreement means to INGENIA one more advance within its product strategy in technology RFID market, being an important approximation to the needs of the increasingly demanding and competitively customer. This pilot project means a new solution inside the company services RFID present catalogue, which already offers solutions such as "Gestar" (tasks management, identification and location of elderly people in geriatric residences), RFID immobilizer management, presence control, etc.
The new PREMO RFID systems provide solutions for presence control, access control, entry identification and control, library and documentation managements (fairs, sports, exhibitions, etc); logistic management; warehouse inventory and stock; production control, loyalty cards and solutions for different sectors such as banks, hospitals, textile, automotive, pharmaceutical, farming, meat industries, and so on.
Premo RFID is situated at the "Technology Park of Andalusia", in Malaga . Premo Group has announced 2007 sales to third parties of ?27 million.
Premo has has been constantly growing with an average of 15 pc annually since 2002.
