TrigPoint Solutions, Inc. announced that Ensign United States Drilling Inc. will utilize TrigPoint's PROMPTTTM SYSTEM to track and manage assets across their entire drilling rig fleet and yard operations.
PROMPTTTM is a modern approach to maximizing rig asset and personnel performance. TrigPoint's proprietary system uses proven RFID technology to automate asset tracking and preventative maintenance, to minimize human error and to improve safety.
Ensign advised their immediate goals were to: identify and inventory all their high value field assets; ensure real-time accuracy of the location and status of all assets; and eliminate paperwork. TrigPoint combines RFID technology, ruggedized mobile hand-held devices and interactive front-end and back-end applications to deliver a rapidly deployable system that is effective and user-friendly. In just a few months Ensign has completed permanent RFID tagging and inventory of all their assets. Next, they will extend the use of PROMPTTTM to automate tracking, management and control of these assets across their entire network. TrigPoint's PROMPTTTM effectively delivers real-time visibility and eliminates all associated paperwork and manual procedures.
Ensign plans to utilize PROMPTTTM in the future to automate and align to their preventative maintenance and safety programs.
