Avery Dennison Retail Branding and Information Solutions (RBIS) announced that it will join ITS, International Talent Support, as a Fashion Partner. Avery Dennison RBIS, a global leader in apparel and footwear solutions, empowers leading global brands with the latest creative trends and the innovative branding solutions that enable designers to bring these trends to life with high-impact brand graphics, labels and finishing touches.
This year, ITS will celebrate its 11th anniversary of supporting young designers and students from around the world in their final year of fashion design school. As part of the 2012 ITS Fashion competition, Avery Dennison will introduce the first-ever Brand Innovation Award, which will grant the winning contestant with a ?3,000 cash prize and the opportunity to design and develop integrated branding solutions for the company's Branding Solutions Portfolio that will be shown to all Avery Dennison RBIS global clients. Avery Dennison will also invite the winner to visit its Customer Design and Innovation Centre in Germany and work directly with the Avery Dennison Global Creative Services team.
Branding is essential to the success of any apparel company, which is why Avery Dennison has challenged the ITS finalists to unleash their creativity and create an inspiring brand solution for their collection. Avery Dennison will provide ITS finalists with guidance, support and the company's full complement of branding solutions and tools - from woven and printed labels, to standout heat transfer embellishments, sustainable hangtags and packaging solutions.

At the ITS two-day final event in Trieste, Italy on Friday, July 13th and Saturday, July 14th, contestants will present their design entries to a panel of judges and winners will be announced in an awards ceremony for the event's three competitions: ITS FASHION, ITS ACCESSORIES, and ITS JEWELRY.
