Dubai based Tagit RFID Solutions recently introduced a new Consignment Box targeting Jewellery industry based on RFID technology. The box is used when items for customer viewing in numbers of 100 - 200 pieces are taken out of safe room and brought back.

As it is unlikely to obtain accurate item count because of the frequency of customer visits and time constraints. When a small piece, such as earring or ring, falls down, it is difficult for jewellery wholesaler to know exactly what is missing.

To solve this problem, TAGIT RFID introduces the TAGIT Consignment Box based on RF Shielded platform which allows the users to put up to 10 trays in two rows of 5 carrying about 6 pieces each. Equipped with two circularly polarized patch arrays the items are counted in split seconds and tag data populated in the computer screen. The consignment box works with RFID reader and is commonly available for EU, US and Japan regions. The box also can be used with Mono-static or Bi-static readers, thus making it the first specialized RFID device in the world which is fully compatible and integrate-able without any hassle.

TAGIT is a company specializing to simplify, mould and package RFID technology into people friendly, business optimizing products. At TAGIT special attention is paid in gathering customer requirements in order to focus on developing easy to use application that minimizes laborious/tedious tasks involved in the day to day operations of a business.
