Germany based KSW Microtec AG will present a new generation of prelaminates for eGovernment, ePayment and Access applications at ID WORLD International Congress 2009 in Milan, from November 3rd to 5th.

As one of the world's leading supplier of RFID components for applications such as eTicketing, ePayment, Asset Management, access control and high security, KSW combines successful high-end wafer processing, efficient assembly technology and in-depth expertise in design.

The CEO of the company, Thomas Hitzer, will present the company's major market drives, such as the rapid growth in the eGoverment and ID sector at the event?s conference session on Secure Identification on November 3rd.

"I am delighted to once again have the opportunity to address the high profile ID community at ID WORLD and look forward to consolidating our existing customer and industry partner relationships and forging new ones," says Thomas Hitzer.

Following a thriving year with specific developments in new security markets, KSW Microtec's latest products will again demonstrate innovation and application to visitors at the ID WORLD exhibition. During the show, on November 4th and 5th, KSW Microtec will highlight its application specific innovations including its Thinlam product family of prelaminates for high security HF and UHF RFID card manufacturing, as well as the WindSpeed family , which provide accurate, efficient and secure solutions for vehicle access.

Thinlam, with a thickness down to 280?m, enables card manufacturers to produce HF and UHF RFID cards with more layers. As it is manufactured without chip module it maintains the highest durability thanks to its patented chip connection technology - achieving tighter resonance frequency tolerances. Thinlam is available on PVC, polycarbonate, PET or Teslin and can also be used for transparent RFID cards due to the excellent optical characteristics. Following the introduction of this product, eGovernment, ePayment and ID applications in general, are fast growing markets for KSW Microtec.

WindSpeed ? KSW Microtec's windshield inlay offering customers more accurate, efficient and secure vehicle access into various locations and premises, has a read range of approximately 18 feet. It is an ideal security and tracking solution for commercial fleet operators of cars or trucks, as well as for private vehicle owners who require secure access and safer parking. The windshield inlay answers the need for managing access to corporate parking lots, high security commercial and industrial areas or gated residential communities. In addition it can be used to control entry and exit gates to automotive services such as toll stations, car rental parks or car washes.

The company was founded in 1994 and is an investment holding of the listed venture capital company Deutsche Effecten- und Wechsel-Beteiligungsgesellschaft AG headquartered in Jena. For more information, please visit www.ksw-microtec.de
