After successful growth in Asian RFID market, Invengo Technology will launch its wireless solutions for both fixed and mobile applications for European market, at ID WORLD International Congress in Milan from 3 to 5 November, 2009.

Mr Philip Calderbank, VP, Sales and Marketing, Europe & America will address the ID WORLD Community on November 3, on Wireless Identification, with specific references to tracking and polling in real-time using Wi-Fi, cellular and Bluetooth technologies in RFID fixed & mobile applications.

The presentation will cover how wireless technologies are bringing not only benefits in service efficiencies, but also helping to significantly reduce infrastructure costs, such as those associated with cabling for fixed networks.

In addition, Invengo will display its innovative solutions at the ID WORLD exhibition on November 4 and 5, highlighting its sector-specific innovations for both readers and tags. These include Invengo's recent addition to its reader product range - the UHF Gen 2 860E. A high performance RFID reader with unprecedented mobile data capability, the 860E delivers all the functionality that is expected from a top range reader with the addition of Wi-Fi, GPRS, and Bluetooth.

The 860E mobile data function allows the reader to communicate by connecting to a local area

network or cellular link and as the Invengo 860E does not require the automatic use of an Ethernet data cable, huge potential savings in material and labor during installation are generated.

Invengo's tag family is also driving costs down for its customers. As with its reader manufacture, market-beating reductions in unit costs are achieved without compromising quality, performance or design. The robust Invengo UHF Metal Tag XCTF-5042 with ultra High Frequency range of 860-960 MHz, is a dedicated, passive, intelligent metal tag, especially designed for supply chain management and logistics applications, where operating distances of several meters can be achieved. Compliant with ISO standards 18000-6B for item management, it offers the possibility of simultaneous reading of labels within the antenna range. The contactless interface demodulates data transmitted from the interrogator to the tag, and further modulates the electromagnetic field provided by the interrogator for data transmission from the tag to the reader. The XCTF-5042 is ideal for use on metal surfaces and delivers exceptional performance with a rugged design for extreme operating environments in asset tracking and supply chain management.

The Invengo XCTF-8403 is another high-performance metal Tag that brings exceptional capabilities and cost effectiveness. These products offer 240-bit EPC number, 64-bit Tag ID and 512-bit programmable user memory, which can each be independently locked with a password to prevent overwriting. In addition, its magnetic strip enables easy attachment to metal planes ? a typical requirement for fleet management and container tracking.

Value asset tracking is a niche area where Invengo has developed a strong market position, through its Jewelry Tag XCTF-8108-C04. It is delivered on rolls to enable ease of scalability in the jewelry tracking application environments. Conforming to EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C, the XCTF-8108-C04 shows unprecedented read range of up to 3 meters over the entire bandwidth of 860-960 MHz, reliable operation in dense RF environments and increased readability of tags within densely packed cases. In addition, its non-volatile memory (NVM) offers a 100,000 cycle/50-year retention reliability.

All Invengo?s tag designs are also exportable in terms of industry sectors. Originally designed for specific applications, they can easily be adapted and redesigned for others - all benefiting from Invengo?s commitment as a manufacturer, to research, development, rigorous testing and innovative design.
