Asia: A World Processing Center Powerhouse
Asia is a key global processing center for label printing products, and China has enjoyed a 30% annual growth rate in label products. Despite the short-term slowdown of the label industry due to the global economy, new challenges and opportunities await labeling businesses in the long run. The retail industry in China is growing rapidly, generating huge demand for labels.
Many well-known international and local suppliers of label materials are located in Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta regions. With this in mind, Sino-Label 2010 will be held in Guangzhou, which is centered in Pearl River Delta. It is strategically located near the major label printing production base and manufacturing markets, catering to the entire industrial chain and related processing industries. Guangdong Province and Hong Kong account for 67% of the label printing industry in China. The label printing industry in South China alone is robust enough to meet the national market demand.
