IHMAN and PREDAN recently announced the formation of an agreement to develop a commercial and marketing project to provide to national and global market a Radio Communication module to integrate in applications whose require a reliable radio-link (range till 1km, sight view) in 868MHz and 915MHz bands.
"This agreement with PREDAN, a global player (Through Premo Group) across multiple industries, provides us with an experienced and strong partner in the field of RFID components", said Pedro J. Pardo Lara, Gerente de IHMAN. "In combination with PREDAN experience as a worldwide supplier, we will get access to and well positioned to anticipate the challenges of the market".

The cooperation between the two Spanish companies will generate a powerful joint of know-how and experience in the use of radio module (fully integrated hardware and firmware) to following applications: Automatic Meter Reading Networks (AMR), for water, electricity and gas, General purpose Ad-hoc sensor networks, Solar panels monitoring networks, Real Time Location System, Crane remote monitoring, Healthcare and wellness network, Weather stations, etc,.
Both companies consider the R&D as strategic within their particular business plans investing on that over 8% in case of PREDAN and over 90% in case of IHMAN (Engineering is its main business) of their yearly sales. PREMO has three different production facilities (Spain, Morocco and China) and R&D, Commercial and Marketing department for RFID division located in M?laga (Andaluc?a Technological Park), IHMAN is located also in Andaluc?a Technological Park.
More than 150 millions of RFID transponder has been delivered to automotive sector during last 5 years. These are delivered globally to more than 50 different companies: automotive manufacturers, tier ones and secondary suppliers and access RFID systems.
