At the RFID Journal LIVE! show next week, FEIG Electronics, manufacturer of RFID Reader Systems, is demonstrating its latest gate antennas and its smooth interaction with the latest generations of RFID chips of Infineon Technologies, manufacturer of high frequency RFID chips and provider of RFID system solutions. Both companies work together in the development of reader technologies.

FEIG ELECTRONICS and Infineon present their portfolios of RFID products from April 16th - 18th, at RFID Journal LIVE! 2010 in Orlando, FL.

Visit Booth #126 for FEIG's demonstrations of RFID Readers and Antennas that operate in frequency ranges 125 kHz, 13.56 MHz, and UHF (865-928 MHz). Infineon will present RFID chips my-d move for public transport ticketing applications and my-d light specifically developed for use for brand protection, supply chain item tracking and asset and inventory control, such as library and media management applications.

Crystal clear data collection

Having recently expanded their production facility in Weilburg, Germany, FEIG Electronics is proud to feature a brand new line of gate antennas. The "Solid Gate", "Clear Gate", and "Crystal Gate" antennas provide excellent reading performance and cutting-edge design. Used primarily in libraries, they are also recommended for many other applications requiring access control and asset tracking, etc.

Outstanding technical features of the gate antennas include:

  • Maximum aisle width for 3D identification of 130 centimeters

  • Automatic alarm function without host connection

  • Flexibility to arrange up to seven passages without the need for antenna

    synchronization

  • Permanent function monitoring

  • Remote diagnostic and maintenance via software connectivity

  • Automatic antenna tuning without additional tuning tools.

At RFID Journal LIVE!, FEIG Electronics will also feature the RFID access control terminal ID MAX50.10-xE for IP-based networks, which allows easy integration into existing infrastructures with its fast Ethernet interface. The terminal, a complete and independent access control system, offers off-line management for up to 9,000 users in stand-alone operation, combining the functionality of an intelligent controller with the advantages of a RFID smart card reader.
