EarthSearch Communications, an ECDC Company, announced that it experienced an extremely positive reaction to its LogiBoxx Certified Solution offerings at the 8th Annual 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) Summit sponsored by eyefortransport, which took place in Atlanta this week. The 3PL Summit is the world's largest event for third party logistics providers and users.

EarthSearch spent three days showcasing the LogiBoxx device and networking with key industry executives and decision makers which should lead to future pilot projects and partnership opportunities.

EarthSearch chose the 3PL Summit for the unveiling of its LogiBoxx intelligent device with integrated business logic. High-level executives in the 3PL and Logistics space were able to see the LogiBoxx device in action and witness the wireless communication between the LogiBoxx, RFID tags, and RFID Readers. The data collected by the LogiBoxx was transmitted in real-time to EarthSearch's proprietary Global Asset Tracking and Identification System (GATIS) software, demonstrating the capability of EarthSearch's technology to provide continuous visibility of mobile assets.

EarthSearch CEO Kayode Aladesuyi participated as a panel member during a strategy session titled, Globalize the Supply Chain: Establish a truly globalized end-to-end supply chain, achieve inventory optimization, and look behind M&A activity in the logistics provider market. Mr Aladesuyi was joined by other industry leaders, including: Dennis Schoemehl, President and CEO, Logistics Management Solutions; Keith Bradley, President North America, Ingram Micro Logistics; Jeremy Haycock, President, North America, Damco; and Mike Stolarczyk, President, Kontane Logistics. The panel was moderated by Ben Gordon, MD with BG Strategic Advisors.

During the hour-long discussion on supply chain globalization, a debate occurred between 3PLs and manufacturers over whose responsibility it is to provide visibility of assets in transit within a supply chain. Mr. Aladesuyi offered a solution to the two groups, claiming that technology companies like EarthSearch will become the peacemakers between shippers and manufacturers in the global supply chain of the future.

"Technology can act as the bridge between 3PLs and their shippers by helping to reduce operational costs and improve sharing of information in real-time," said Mr. Aladesuyi. "We can deliver solutions with intelligence and business logic to give continuous visibility within a supply chain, enhancing return on investment."

Mr. Aladesuyi also implored technology providers to find ways to reduce costs for their clients so there can be increased adoption across the supply chain industry of new advanced solutions.

EarthSearch will continue the introduction of LogiBoxx Certified Solutions at the Healthcare & Life Sciences Supply Chain Summit to be held at Chicago's Magnificent Mile Hilton Hotel, June 29-30.
