IDENTEC GROUP, the leading global RFID solutions provider which recently announced it had completed a $7.5 million equity capital round with private investors, said today that its strategy of creating synergies and investing in the growth of its four US businesses is rapidly showing significant results.

The company said that its four US businesses -- Hothead Technologies, Beverage Metrics, InSync Software, and IDENTEC Solutions -- are all showing promising results since the company announced a heightened focus on the US market earlier this year. In particular, Hothead Technologies and Beverage Metrics have recently signed major pilot projects with a series of Fortune 500 companies. Hothead, where IDENTEC GROUP recently increased its ownership from 5% to 100% is at the forefront of developing wireless solutions to aid in the detection and prevention of heat-related events and illnesses and is making rapid advances in sports, industry, and among fire and rescue organizations. InSync Software developed the software platform for both companies, while IDENTEC Solutions developed the sensors for both Hothead and Beverage Metrics.
In April, IDENTEC GROUP announced a new operating strategy intended to capitalize on the core competencies of its US businesses and promote synergies in technology, marketing, operational and financial activities. The goal is to help these companies respond rapidly to the demand of their customers and markets as well as to open up additional growth opportunities.
