VingCard Elsafe, the global leader in hospitality security and part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, will once again redefine hotel security with the introduction of an entirely new locking concept, designed to solve a variety of hotel security system challenges, including those involving design, installation and maintenance. This new minimalistic electronic lock concept will make its worldwide debut to the hospitality industry during HITEC 2012, the world's largest hospitality technology show, taking place June 25th - 28th at the Baltimore Convention Center.

"With the development of our newest electronic lock concept, we believe that we have now achieved the maximum expression of minimalistic design," said Tim Shea, president of ASSA ABLOY Hospitality. "Our goal was to make many of the challenges that face hoteliers today simply disappear?-challenges such as aesthetic design, technology integration, electronic lock installation, and system maintenance issues. Our new lock will make all those challenges "vanish", and we look forward to formally introducing it to the hotel industry next week!"

This latest product introduction continues a long tradition of innovation that began in 1979, when VingCard introduced the world's first recodable lock, and Elsafe the first electronic in-room safe. Since that time, the company has remained the industry leader, developing a series of firsts, such as the introduction of the Signature Series in 2005, which set a trend in minimalistic electronic locks with the flexibility to adapt to different hotel styles. With the adoption of contactless RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and wireless RF-online technologies, VingCard Elsafe again set a new standard in the hotel market.

To be one of the first to discover VingCard Elsafe's latest breakthrough in electronic locking solutions, please contact Riise Walker at +1 (972) 692-3167 or visit VingCard Elsafe at Booth # 1210 at HITEC 2012 in Baltimore, June 25th-28th. Continuous demonstrations of the new lock will be available throughout the show.
