In recognition of continued excellence, AeroScout and Stanley InnerSpace Corporation, both part of the Stanley Healthcare Solutions business platform, have received highly coveted Supplier Performance Awards from the Premier healthcare alliance. In addition, building on a successful three-year relationship, Premier has once again selected AeroScout as a preferred provider of RFID Asset Tracking and Management solutions and named AeroScout the exclusive RFID solution provider for Premier's prestigious ASCEND program. Both contracts are effective for another three years starting August 1, 2012, and will serve Premier members, which include a total of 2,600 U.S. hospitals and 84,000 healthcare sites.
The Supplier Performance Awards were announced at Premier's Annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition. The honor recognizes AeroScout and Stanley InnerSpace for their outstanding management of Premier agreements and commitment to the mutual goal of providing clinical and financial value to Premier alliance members. The awards applaud the efforts of contracted suppliers that exceed operational expectations based on performance data which is collected and scored over four successive calendar quarters.

ASCEND (Accelerated Supply Chain Endeavor) assists Premier member hospitals in their ongoing efforts to control and reduce costs through simplified purchasing processes, appropriate clinical utilization and specially negotiated contract benefits. With today's announcement, all ASCEND members seeking an RFID solution for Asset Tracking and Management will continue to purchase AeroScout's Wi-Fi-based healthcare visibility solutions -- without the need to go through an RFP (Request for Proposal). ASCEND's rigorous selection process means that the efforts have already been completed so that members know they are purchasing from the best vendor.
