Sun Microsystems has developed an efficient method for admitting conference attendees who have enrolled for conference sessions. Using Tracient Technologies' Explore-R HF RFID reader and the Nokia E61i phone, Sun's conference staff can scan attendees' badges while they are in line meaning they are moved much faster into seminar rooms than in previous years, ensuring less time in queues for attendees and everyone being seated on time for the sessions. |
